Energy Equipment and Services Ltd is engaged in the provision of Services and Products that serve the needs of the oil and gas industry.
Our range of services are, but not limited to:
- Non-Destructive Testing,
- Valves Services and Overhauling (including calibration and re-certification),
- Special Mechanical and Technical Services (Post-Weld Heart Treatment, Hot-Tapping, Cold Cutting, Pump Repair Servicing and Overhaul),
- Piping Modification, Leak Repair, Steam System Upgrade,
- Provision and Hiring of Equipment, Emergency Procurement / Import Services,
- Project Management Services and Supply of Technical Personnel.
It is our commitment to provide Services and Products which conform to our Clients’ requirements in a timely and cost effective manner, complying with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
To this end:
- we have established a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 standard, and ensure that our Quality Policy and Procedures are communicated and understood by all persons working for us, or on our behalf,
- we invest in highly qualified personnel and high level equipment, and will continuously improve in technical, operational and behavioral aspects through involvement and training of our staff, and through technical up-gradation of our equipment,
- every staff member is made responsible for ensuring that his or her work is of the highest standard, and is encouraged to be actively involved in defect prevention and early detection and elimination of non-conformances. We ensure that all staff receives full support, resources and necessary training in order to deliver this goal,
- we will work with our clients to define requirements and clarify expectations, including cost and time constraints; we will use customer feedback as input for continual improvement,
- we select and monitor our suppliers based on set quality requirements.
We are also committed to continually improve the effectiveness and the efficiency of our Quality Management System with the involvement of our employees.
To this end:
- we set and monitor performance objectives for all processes that are part of our Quality Management System,
- we systematically review our policy for its suitability and update it as necessary,
- every staff member is made responsible for identifying and evaluating quality concerns, and for suggesting solutions to Management.

CORPORATE HSE & CA POLICY STATEMENT
In pursuance of the corporate technical mission, aimed at delivering high quality services, and prevention and control of losses, the company shall adopt an integrated enhanced SHE management system, and shall execute its operation in such a way, as to:
- Develop and maintain good relationship with host communities /clients and others
- Preserve the health and safety of the worker and others who may be affected
- Protect and conserve the environment
- Safeguard the human and material resources.
Belief
EES Limited believes that all accidents and community disturbances are preventable, SHE is a line management responsibility and a good business, Safety can be managed with the same level of dedication like production and cost control, company’s management should be visibly committed to safety and Safety should be regarded as an integral part of company's business. Finally, work should be suspended whenever it is considered unsafe.
Strategies
Strategies such as tool box meetings, safety meetings, debriefing, emergency and surveillance drills, hazards management audits, safety induction, unsafe acts, near miss and accidents reporting and investigation, job safety training, development and sustenance of good rapport with host communities, environmental protection, SHE & CA performances evaluation, among others, shall be carried out.
Emergency rescue
Response to situation considered inimical you the well-being of personnel, host community, environment, facility and equipment shall be well articulated and managed with the aim of preventing or controlling losses. Proper investigation, documentation and circulation of the report of the incident shall be completed. The company shall always liaise, support and identify with client, government and other bodies distress situation.
Furthermore
Strict adherence to general SHE codes is mandatory, valuable suggestions and contributions aimed at enhancement of SHE standards shall be acknowledged and rewarded. Breach of SHE rules will not be tolerated.
Authority
The safety department is empowered to implement HSE standards in line with international, local, client’s and corporate safety provisions to achieve the corporate SHE objectives.

Our Purpose
It is the policy of Energy Equipment and Services LTD to pursue its technical mission complying with all relevant employment laws and regulations, and human right.
Our Commitment
- Child labour
EES do not employ children and young workers. Child and young labour is not part of our strategic plans.
- Fourced labour
EES does not engage in, or support, the use of forced labour.
- Freedom of association and right to collective bargaining
EES recognizes its employees right to join trade unions and to collective bargain.
- Discrimination
EES is open towards diversity in the workplace; the Company does not engage in, or support, any type of discriminating practices, and does not allow harassment in any form to occur. The Company employs and promote people on account of their qualification alone, with no regard to sex, age, nationality, religion, skin colour, political beliefs, sexual orientation, or social or ethnic background.
- Discipline
Disciplinary practices are in accordance with the internal “Disciplinary code”, that is explained to all employees and periodically reviewed by Top Management; the Company does not punish employees mentally, physiologically or by means of verbal aggression.
- Working hours and Remuneration
EES complies with all applicable local laws concerning working hours and remuneration.
An average working week is forty four (44) hours. Overtime may occur in connection with specific services and deadlines and it is kept on a voluntary basis. Employees are offered overtime compensation or compensatory time, or a combination of the two options.
The Company will never utilize payroll deductions for disciplinary purposes.
- Supply chain
EES encourage suppliers and contractors to support its principles and commitment on social accountability. Suppliers are evaluated and selected on their ability to meet the requirements of the SA 8000 standard
- Training and awareness
EES provides awareness training on social accountability and where required job specific training for employees
- Management System
EES has implemented a management system that establishes responsibilities, monitoring methods and review process to fulfill the requirements of SA 8000 standards.
Top management are committed to ensuring continual improvement in social accountability and labour conditions.
This policy is communicated to all employees and is publicly available on EES’ website.
DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY
EES LTD is aware of the hazardous health implications of drugs and alcohol and shall continue to discourage the consumption and abuse of drugs and alcoholic beverages by all workers.
Any worker suspected to be influenced or impaired by drugs/alcohol while on duty shall be subjected to predetermined test. Necessary actions shall be taken against worker(s) confirmed to be influenced or impaired by drugs or alcohol.
Relevant awareness programmes on the dangers of drugs and alcohol shall be launched and sustained from time to time, and participation by workers shall be compulsory.
The company shall comply with necessary client and government regulations on drugs and alcohol.
COMMUNITY RELATION POLICY
In keeping with our CASHES Policy objectives, activities of the company in all its area of operation are planned and executed in such a manner that;
- Shall preserve the Health, Safety and Security of the members of the general public including the host community who may be affected by our operations.
- Ensures minimum impact on the environment of the host community:
- All pollutants like; chemicals and allied products in use on site shall be used and controlled in such a manner that all spillage and wastes are controlled within the project site
- Leakage or overflow to the adjoining Environment shall be avoided at all costs by using TANKER to safely suck up and discharge such wastes in good time into a CLIENT’S approved dump – site or discharge bunker or pit
- Any environment mishap or pollution shall be attended to immediately and measures taken to forestall reoccurrence. In any case of spillage to the environment, the ASSET HOLDER must immediately be notified of the extent of pollution or mishap.
- Our company shall be sensitive to the needs, requirements and aspirations of the host community as much as are reasonably practicable.
- The company shall employ at least 60% of its workforce on site from the host community where requisite levels of skill are available.
Preference shall be given to the residents of the immediate community in all matters of employment on site.
The company has had an extensive experience in dealing with community issues and to date has maintained a good and cordial relationship with the communities it has worked with, like:
- Onne (Host community)
- Trans Amadi
- Ibeno – Eket (Mobil Producing - Provision of Valve Shop Project Management Services)
- Ogunu (Warri Refinery).
The relationships were managed in such a way as to ensure good working arrangements with the youths, homage to the chiefs – in – council and assistance in community development ventures. |
